We've photographed the full range of wedding styles; from the small, intimate affair (4 in the wedding party/15 guests) to the huge celebration (27 in the wedding party/500 guests). We will work closely with you to plan the style
of photography coverage that meets your specific needs. We are wedding specialists!
Unobtrusive
We pride ourselves on being unobtrusive and low key at the ceremony and reception. We can photograph your wedding 100% photojournalistically (no posing) if you choose or we can add illustrative, romantic and family group poses to the coverage. It's up to you.
Award-Winning Creativity
We are an established Studio and we specialize in wedding photography. Mr. Baltar is a full-time,
professional photographic artist whose work has won numerous awards for artistic excellence. His photographs have been published internationally and have appeared in three books and numerous magazines (including Esquire and Family Circle). In addition he's authored several articles on internet and photography related topics. Raymond is a charter member of the Professional Photographers of the Redwood Empire (where he is a past President and Board member) and is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America. He earned a B.A. degree in Art, photography emphasis, from San Francisco State University.
The Finest Equipment
We utilize the finest, professional-grade digital equipment to record your wedding. As wedding professionals dedicated to producing quality images for our clients, and as creative artists, we have chosen the digital format specifically because 1) we believe digital cameras are the best tools available to create the contemporary style images our clients want; 2) it gives our clients the most flexibility in ordering options (black and white, sepia, color, etc.) at no additional cost; 3) it allows us incredible opportunities for post-wedding artistic interpretations and unique presentations, and 4) we can offer the original camera files (digital negatives) to our clients on DVD's as a way for them to personally archive this important part of their family history.
Engagement Session
We feel strongly that it is important to establish a good working relationship between the photographer and the couple prior to the wedding day. We therefore include an outdoor engagement session as part of the wedding package. This session gives us an opportunity to get to know each and allows us to photograph each couple before the wedding.
Custom Album Design
We can include custom album design as part of our services. We offer traditional album styles as well as new and exciting album presentations that allow unique and creative display options for the contemporary couple. Ask us about the new Art Book, photo-essay style albums - they are simply gorgeous and the wave of the future. Whatever style you choose, we'll work closely with you to design a beautiful album you will cherish always.
Digital Imaging
Mr. Baltar has studied the computer imaging field since 1991. He was the first photographer in Sonoma County to embrace the World Wide Web (in June 1995) and establish a site featuring his work.
How many pictures do you take?
Each wedding is a unique event and there is no way of predicting exactly how many photographs will be required. However, during a typical six hour wedding we create at least 1000 photographs, then edit down to 500 to 600 for your preview magazine.
Do we look at proofs?
Within about four weeks of the wedding we present you with a preview magazine and a the full-resolution DVD set to take home. Both are yours to keep. We post the images on the web as well at no additional cost.
Pricing
We have a very simple, easy to understand fee structure for our wedding coverage: 5 base packages with unlimited flexibility to add products as needed. Our popular Lily Package includes up to 6 hours on the wedding day, edited previews in 10x13, 12-
up magazine-style format and Web posting for 90 days. Also included is a 10 X 10 Black Tie flush-mount album holding 50 images and the full resolution image set burned to DVD. Additional coverage time and picture products may be added as needed or desired.

Raymond Baltar began his career as a newspaper photojournalist and editor (for 8 years) and has been including photojournalistic-style (candid, unposed) imagery in wedding albums since he started creating them. Raymond is a romantic story-teller who will artistically interpret your wedding and present you with a set of images that will always spark wonderful memories of this very special day in your life.
